Thinking of You: Watercolored Bokeh Background with Copic-Colored Image

Hello, friends!  Today I’m sharing a card using new products from Newton’s Nook Designs.  That gorgeous image is from the Loads of Blooms stamp set, and I used the Bokeh Stencil Set to create that fabulous background.

For my background I first added color to a panel of watercolor paper with my Gansai Tambi watercolors.  Once that was dry, I added the circles with white pigment ink and the Bokeh Stencil Set.  I allowed the ink to dry before die-cutting the panel with the Framework Die Set.  Using ScorTape, I adhered the panel to a white cardbase.

I stamped that beautiful image from Loads of Blooms with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics.  I used the coordinating dies to cut out the image and added some white highlights and clear sparkle to it.

I heat-embossed a sentiment from Woodland Spring onto white cardstock and die-cut it with the Frames & Flags Die Set.  After adhering a die-cut vellum circle to my background panel, I attached the sentiment strip and popped up the colored image with foam tape.  I finished with some clear sequins filled with Glossy Accents.

Thanks for stopping by!
