Howdy, friends! We’re on day 3 of Newton’s Nook Designs April Release, and today we’re showcasing the new Moo stamp set. I just love these cute cows and pun-y sentiments!
I stamped the images from Moo with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to die-cut everything but the hay in the cow’s mouth, which I fussy-cut to remove the white outline.
How cool is that background paper?! I used the new Hardwood Stencil and brown ink on some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to create it. After inking up the paper, I trimmed it to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered it to a white card.
To create the background for my colored images, I inked up two pieces of Bristol paper: one with Salty Ocean and the other with Mowed Lawn. I die-cut both with a circle die and also die-cut the grass with the Land Borders Die Set. I adhered the pieces together and matted them with a black circle. After adhering the circle to my card with foam tape, I popped up my images and added some white highlights. I die-cut a sentiment from Moo with the new Speech Bubbles Die Set and added it with dimensional adhesive.

Whoever designed the faces of the cows did an awesome job. They are very appealing, and make me want to pet them. Your coloring brought it to life, too.
