Hi, friends! Have you hopped along with Your Next Stamp’s 9th birthday blog hop? There are 9 prizes up for grabs, and tomorrow is the last day to comment. Tomorrow is also the last day of the sale YNS is having in honor of their 9th birthday (see picture at the end of this post), so don’t miss out on an amazing deal!
I’m sharing another card featuring the adorable Cupcake Day stamps and dies. This set may very well be my favorite from the release, but it’s so hard to choose because they’re all fabulous, right?! After I had stamped those cuties with Black Olive Dye Ink, I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I thought it would be so fun to have a “cheesy” background for those sweet mice, so I inked up some white cardstock with Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber distress oxides. I die-cut the panel with circle dies to create that “cheesy” look, stamped a greeting from Cupcake Day in black, and popped up the frame onto a white card.
I tucked the mice into the holes, adding foam tape behind parts of the images to allow them to overlap onto the frame. After adding some highlights with a white gel pen, I brushed on a bunch of clear sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the YNS blog and leave a comment on the DT Dare post for a chance to win a surprise pack of awesome goodies.
Happy New Year, friends! I’m delighted to be able to tell you that…
