Kraftin Kimmie Stamps’ April Release Day 2: What’s Up, Dude?

Hello, again, and welcome to Day 2 of Kraftin Kimmie Stamps’ Release Previews!  Today, we’re showcasing the new What’s Up, Dude? stamp set illustrated by Emilie Goulet.  If you have or know a teenage boy, then you need this set!

The image I chose reminds me of my nephew (who just got his driver’s license – aack!  I think I’m getting old!).  I colored the boy with my Copics and cut him out with my ScanNCut2.

To create my background, I used Whimsy Stamps’ Brick Pattern Stencil and texture paste.  Once the paste was dry, I went over it with Brushed Corduroy distress ink.  I stamped a sentiment from What’s Up, Dude?, trimmed down the panel, and adhered it to a red mat, which I attached to a white card.  I finished with some matte enamel dots from Whimsy Stamps.

There’s a list at the end of this post with links to the designers sharing their creations with this awesome set.  Be sure to leave comments at each stop for a chance to win $10 to the krafty shop.  Plus, Kraftin Kimmie is giving one lucky person the ENTIRE release at the live Facebook Online Release Party on Saturday at 1 pm EST.  Don’t miss it!

Have a rad day!
