Inky Paws Challenge 69: Birthday Theme

Hi there!  Yes, it’s Monday again – ugh – but on a positive note, it’s also the start of a new Inky Paws Challenge.  The theme for IPC 69 is birthday, and with all of the amazing products Newton’s Nook just released, it’s going to be a FUN one!

I used one of the fabulous images from the new Holding Happiness stamp set – easily my favorite product from the latest release.  I had so much fun coloring this image and am pretty pleased with how it turned out (The list of Copics I used is at the end of this post)!

The plaid paper is from Lawn Fawn.  I die-cut a scalloped rectangle with Waffle Flower’s Lacey Layers Die Set and heat-embossed a sentiment from Holding Happiness.

I popped up my colored image with foam tape and added some Copic shading to “ground” the image.  I added a ton of sparkle to the balloons and finished with a scattering of clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to link up a project by Friday, April 13th, at midnight CST for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate.

Copics Used:  E000, E00, E11, C00, C1, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y18, YG01, YG25, YG17, BG11, BG13, BG49, V01, V04, V06, R22, R24, R29
