Hello, again! I’m back with the third installment of my favorite crafty things. Long before I ever heard of papercrafting, I was a gardener, specifically of flowers. I absolutely love flowers – the colors, the fragrances – everything! Therefore, I HAD to include flowers in my list, and Winnie & Walter has some truly beautiful ones. My card today features In Bloom: Anna’s Flora and In Bloom: Addie’s Garden.
I started by creating masks of all my flowers. My images were stamped onto Bristol Smooth paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Using my MISTI, I stamped the large flower (It looks like a dahlia to me.) in the center, masked it, and then stamped the two adjacent to it. I continued masking and stamping until I was satisfied with my arrangement.
Once my ink was dry, I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a waterbrush. For the background I ink-blended Tumbled Glass Distress ink over Scenery: Grand Trellis Creative Screenings, making sure not to get any ink on my flowers.
After heat-setting my panel, I stamped a sentiment from The Big, the Bold and You with Versamark and gold heat-embossed it. I trimmed down my panel and adhered it to a white card. To give more interest to the background, I added some clear Nuvo drops.

Your card is absolutely gorgeous. I have been trying to stamp flowers and mask them like this for weeks now and still they don’t look like this. Any suggestions? I can’t seem to get the flowers in the back to look like yours. Do you have a videos? But again your card just pops out at me. Stunning..
