Hello, friends! Yes, I have another snow-themed card to share today (It’s 60 degrees here, so this will be the only snow I’ll see for awhile)!
I used the Snowman Tidings stamp set and coordinating dies from Whimsy Stamps to build this fun scene. I stamped all of my images with distress ink for some no-line coloring. The snowman was stamped with Tumbled Glass; the tree, with Antique Linen; and the birds, with Candied Apple. I used a waterbrush and my Zigs to color everything.
My background was created by ink-blending with Mermaid Lagoon onto Bristol Smooth paper. The snowflakes were made with a stencil, Versamark, and some White Puff Embossing Powder. I die-cut a snowy hill with Whimsy Stamps’ Stitched Border Die Trio, foam-mounted it onto my background, and brushed on a bunch of Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Overlay. After adding some plaid paper to a white card, I adhered my background panel on top and popped up my colored images with foam tape (There are two layers of foam tape behind the snowman’s hat). Onto vellum I heat-embossed “let it” from the Snow Flurry stamp set and added “Snow” die-cut from glitter cardstock with the Holiday Word Die. I also added some highlights with a white gel pen and some sparkle to the snowman.
