Watercolored Fall Background for Inky Paws Challenge 57

Hello!  I’m back with a little inspiration for Inky Paws Challenge 57, which is a fall theme.  For my card I used Newton’s Nook’s Fall-ing For You stamp set and Autumn Leaves dies.

With Versafine Onyx Black ink, I stamped the smaller images from Fall-ing For You onto Bristol Smooth paper and colored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush.  While my background was drying, I stamped the gorgeous sentiment from the set onto vellum with Versamark and heat-embossed it with copper embossing powder.

I trimmed my watercolored panel, wrapped the vellum piece around it, and adhered it to a kraft card.  I die-cut two leaves and an acorn from watercolor paper with the Autumn Leaves dies and inked them up with distress inks.

Thanks for stopping by.  I can’t wait to see what you make with this theme!  Be sure to link up your project by midnight on Friday, October 20th, for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Newton’s Nook Designs.

This is gorgeous! I love the watercolored background and the fun gold embossing! The added die cut is the perfect finishing touch! Thank you for the Inky Paws challenge inspiration!
