Hi there! I’m popping in to share a card I made with stamps from Winnie & Walter. Florals and watercolor just go together, don’t they? I knew I wanted to watercolor some flowers, and these daisies fit the bill perfectly!
I stamped the top flower from In Bloom: Addie’s Garden and then masked it before stamping the other two. Next, I added some stems and leaves from In Bloom: Anna’s Florals. I colored everything with my Gansai Tambi watercolors.
Once my panel was dry, I die-cut it with MFT Stamps’ Wonky Stitched Rectangles. Using my MISTI, I stamped the “thanks” from The Big, The Bold and You multiple times. I stamped a supporting sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-embossed it in white. I popped up the strip with foam tape, wrapped the panel with some bakers’ twine, and backed it with white foam before adhering it to a card. To add a little more interest and some sparkle, I went over the flowers’ centers and “thanks” with clear Wink of Stella and created some water droplets around my sentiment with clear Nuvo drops.
Thanks for stopping by! I’m entering this card into the following challenges: Winnie & Walter June Color Combo Challenge, Winnie & Walter Rerun Challege No. 21 (I was inspired by Heather’s watercolored tree and bold sentiment.), The Flower Challenge No. 10: Embossing Heat/Dry, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Summer Sunshine.
