Hi there! For day 2 of the May release, the DT is featuring the new Sweet As Honey stamps. These little honey bears are so cute, and I just love all of the accompanying images!
All of my images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored with Copics and cut out with my ScanNCut2. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and some Glossy Accents to the honey, the bear’s nose, and her antennae.
The patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs’ Spring Things paper pad. I trimmed it to A2-size and die-cut the center with the Stitched in Circle Dies. The yellow frame was created by layering two of the circle dies together. I backed the opening in the patterned paper with acetate and covered the back of the panel with foam tape.
For the background I ink-smooshed some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto Bristol Smooth paper. I placed some Fall Harvest Sequins in the middle and added my die-cut panel on top before adhering the shaker to my white card. I adhered the frame around the opening and my stamped images onto the acetate. The sentiment was heat-embossed in white onto a banner die-cut with the Flag Banner Dies. I put foam tape behind the center and adhered the tabs flat.
Thanks for spending time with me. I hope you have a “bee-utiful” day! For more inspiration and for a chance to win this set, head on over to Craftin Desert Divas’ Facebook event.
