Anniversary Wishes

Hi, friends!  Can you believe it’s Thursday already?!  I hope you’re having a wonderful week; if not, the weekend is almost here!  🙂

Have you seen Unity Stamps’ April sentiment kit?  Those peonies called my name, so I had to get the kit.  For this card, I stamped the bouquet twice onto Bristol Smooth paper and heat-embossed the images in white before watercoloring them with my Zig markers.

The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps’ Scripty Occasion.  I gold heat-embossed it onto vellum and framed it with a die-cut made with Waffle Flower’s Lacey Layers dies.  I adhered the frame to the vellum and the vellum to my watercolored panel, which I then glued to a white card.  Some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh add the finishing touch to this simple, elegant card.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the ‘net.  Have a beautiful day!

I’m entering this card into the following challenges:  Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge:  It’s a Frame Up and Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Challenge 94:  Anything Goes with a Twist of Spring.
