Hello, again. I hope you’re having a great week. Today, I have a card featuring Newton’s Nook Designs’ Beautiful Plumage set, released earlier this month. I love the lacy swirls in this set!
I stamped the fabulous peacock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored it with Copics, and cut it out with my ScanNCut2. I die-cut a scalloped oval with MFT Stamps’ Stitched Mini Scallop Oval STAX, heat-embossed a sentiment from Beautiful Plumage onto it, and popped up the peacock with foam tape.
To create the “lace” on my background, I white heat-embossed the peacock’s tail feathers onto vellum. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I wrapped the vellum around the spine of my card and adhered it to the back. After popping up the scalloped oval with foam tape, I added some Zig Wink of Stella and glitter enamel dots to the feathers and some Glossy Accents to the eye.
Thank you for stopping by. I have you have an amazing day!
I’m entering this card into the following challenges: Inky Paws Challenge #45: Use a Doily and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.
