Hello, again. I have another confession: I enjoy baking (Who doesn’t like licking the beater or having a cookie fresh from the oven?), but I despise cleaning up afterwards. I would probably bake more if I had a genie to clean up the mess. In a way, it’s a good thing really because if I baked more, I would eat more, and we know where that leads!
I love making my own patterned paper, and I used Your Next Stamp’s Lovin from the Oven to make the one for this card. I stamped the images in a Copic-friendly gray ink and colored them – very simply – with Copics. I trimmed that down and adhered it to a teal cardbase.
I stamped the stove from the same set, colored it with Copics, and cut it out. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the set onto gray cardstock and adhered that and the stove to vellum, which I adhered to my card. Using YNS’s Scripty Love Word die, I die-cut the word three times from red cardstock and layered them together. I adhered that to my card and brushed some Zig Wink of Stella on top. A few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finish the card.
Thanks for spending some time with me. I hope you have a sweet day!
I’m entering this card into the following challenges: Your Next Stamp Sketch & Color Challenge 60, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Layer It Up, 7kids Challenge #6: Anything Goes and Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #234: Clean and Simple.
