Hi, there! I’m back with a thank you card featuring the gorgeous bloom from Hero Arts April 2016 My Monthly Hero kit. The awesome thing about the kit (no longer available; sorry!) is that it comes with dies to cut out each layer of the flower for some gorgeous dimension. Check it out.
(You’ll be able to see the dimension better in the next picture.)
I stamped the flower four times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored each one with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to die-cut each layer. The leaves I fussy-cut. I curled up the tips of the images with the handle of a paintbrush and adhered the flower layers together with foam tape for extra depth.
The sentiment, which I just love, is from the kit, also. I stamped it in Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-embossed it with Simon Says Stamp gold embossing powder. I adhered the strip to my white card before attaching my flower and leaves. Some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some Zig Wink of Stella on the flower’s center add some sparkle.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a fantastic day!
I’m entering this card into Marker Pop’s Challenge 108: Give Thanks and a2z Scrapbooking’s November 2016 Challenge: Embellish It.

Your flower is stunning! I love how the fine details of the flower are offset by a simple black strip with sentiment. Thanks for joining us at a2z.
