Happy Friday, stampy friend! This morning it actually felt fall-ish (Such a relief from those 90+ degree days!), and I was inspired to create a fall card. I hope you like it.
The leaves and sentiment are from a set by Pink and Main called Doodled Flowers. I arranged some of the leaves onto an acrylic block and stamped them with Versamark onto watercolor paper. I heat-embossed the images with clear embossing powder and loosely watercolored the panel with distress inks. The colors I used are Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn, Old Paper, and Mermaid Lagoon. After my coloring was dry, I die-cut the panel with Waffle Flower’s Lacey Layers die and adhered it to my side-folding, white card.
I had an ivory die-cut circle on my desk, so I stamped my sentiment onto that with Versamark and heat-embossed it with Simon Says Stamp gold embossing powder. I die-cut a circle from vellum using MFT’s Inside/Out Stitch Circle STAX die. I popped it up with foam tape onto my card and popped up my sentiment on top. I finished the card with some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
I’m entering this card into the following challenges: Pink and Main Challenge #13: Autumn, TIME Out Challenge #65, and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: It’s a Stitch Up.

This is stunning. I adore that background, perfect colouring and the double layer with vellum for the sentiment is the perfect match. So pleased you joined us at Time Out

Wow! Another gorgeous card! I really like how this one has those traditional fall elements to it (falling leaves), yet you’ve given it a cool new spin with the circular framed-out sentiment and those blingy sequins! The metallic sentiment is so crisp and clean and elegant-looking and I adore that stitching detail around your circles. Brilliant use of vellum, too! Thanks for getting me into fall-mode (I hear you on getting a welcome break from the 90+ temperatures finally) and for supporting us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!

So lovely, Andrea … there’s such a fabulous sense of movement in those loosely coloured leaves, as though they’re being wafted about by an autumn breeze … love the softness of the vellum with them … and the gold is gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita 🙂
