Day 3 of MFT’s Camp Create Session 3

Hello and Happy Friday!!!  Do you have any big plans for the weekend?  If not, you should definitely make time to do something crafty and maybe even join me at Camp Create.  It is so much fun!

The theme for Day 3 is Remarkable Resist.  This one is a lot of fun, especially if you don’t mind getting inky!

I created the background by stamping  Echo Park Paper’s Make a Wish A2 stamp with Versamark onto white cardstock and heat-embossing in white.  I ink-blended with Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Mustard Seed distress inks.  After ink-blending, I wiped the panel with a paper towel to remove the ink from the surface of the embossing.  I trimmed the panel and matted it with blue cardstock before adhering it to my white A2 card.

You know how I love those bears from MFT’s Beary Special Birthday, so I stamped one with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and colored him with Copics.  I added some stripes to the candles with a white gel pen and some Zig Wink of Stella to the frosting (Sorry; it doesn’t show in the pictures).  I die-cut the bear with the coordinating dies and popped him up with foam tape onto my card.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it in white.  I bannered one end and popped it up with foam squares onto my card.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend, and try to find some time to get inky!

I’m entering this card into the Color Throwdown Challenge #405 and Marker Pop’s Challenge #101:  Embossing.
