Hi, friends! I’m back with a card featuring another adorable gnome stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Gnome Friends. Seriously, the gnomes illustrated by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy are the cutest ones on the market!
After stamping that cutie, I colored him with Copics and fussy-cut him. To help fill out my scene, I die-cut the toadstools from the Build-a-Fairy Garden Dies and the No-See All Seasons Tree Dies (the smallest toadstool) and colored them to match.
I die-cut the tree and leaves from colored cardstocks with the No-See All Seasons Tree Dies. I added dye ink to the tree to help bring out that fabulous embossing and added dimension to the leaves with my Copics. The grassy border was cut from light green cardstock with the Grass & Cloud Edger Dies. I blended the strip with distress inks to create some depth.
After adding ink to a panel of light blue cardstock, I adhered the grass and tree, trimming off the excess. Next, I affixed my other elements, popping up that cute gnome with foam tape, and added a bit of shading with Copics. To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from Hello Bear.
Thanks for stopping by!
